You're absolutely right, as (almost) always, VC. ;-) On the other hand, there are actually reasons for optimism with Erickson for Devil fans, such as the defense that has ascended to the top of the Pac Ten just three years after Koetter's awful defensive era, some young talent and what appears to be an improving young offensive line, etc. I just meant to add a grain of salt to the suggestion that we can make conclusions about Erickson in his third season here. While I'm totally disgusted with the offensive schemes, playcalling, and the decision to stick with Sullivan, on the whole I prefer where we are now to where we were under Koetter. Of course, if we could steal Harbaugh away... ;-)
