One of my 2 ultimate frustrating losses in the Tmeey era was our 7-6 loss to the Devils in 1992 when we kicked ASu's butt all over the field, all game long but for 1 play, the Galbreath TD run. In that game, ASu had 3 snaps in our territory.
Well, near the end of the ASu/USC game tonight, Mike Patrick (God, I can't stand him) said that USC had 3 snaps all game in ASu territory. With the same result as in 1992: the dominating defense lost. It doesn't seem fair.
"To me, the University of Arizona is the truth, ASu is the fabrication of the truth."--Lance Briggs
"What pansies these guys are."--ASU legend Wilford "Whizzer" White, on the modern day Sun Devils
"If the NCAA finds a major violation occurred, it would be ASU's ninth such case since 1953, more than any other school in the country. ASU is now tied for violations with Southern Methodist University in Texas, which was given the "death penalty" by the NCAA in the 1980s when it banned the football program from competing for three years."--Arizona Republic, December 17, 2009
