I find nothing exciting or enjoyable about playing in the NIT. It's starting out in the loser's bracket with no hope of playing your way back in. I wish I didn't care so much though, because it sure would have made this year, and particularly yesterday, much easier to take. Oddly enough, I am much more sanguine about UA football's mediocre status, and the disappointments there don't bother me nearly as much as they do with basketball.
